Patty's Modeling Career
6 May 2020
Martin is concerned that Patty is too much of a typical teenager and not as "well rounded" as Cathy. Patty takes a magazine quiz entitled "How do you rate as a teenager?", rated on appearance, attitude and good manners. Cathy scores 85; Patty only gets a 10 and now questions who she is. Depressed, she refuses to go out with Richard. She reads about charm/modeling school and becomes determined to regain her self-confidence through the tutelage of Mrs. Selby (Kaye Ballard, "The Mothers-In-Law", "The Doris Day Show"). At home, she adopts a graceful attitude that slowly builds conceit after she is selected for a modeling job. It may not be quite as expected, however.

A consecutive episode whose plot was in spots heavily copied from "I Love Lucy"- ("The Charm School").
