A big comeback of avijit pakrashi and co. after 9 years with the hands of Srijit Mukherjee. The straight drive of Sachin, Disco dancer of Mithun , stuttering of SRK and thriller of Srijit Mukherjee creates a great signature in the mind of people.
The first half of the movie, 'Dwitio Purush' is quite slow. Though the acting of Ritobrata as 'khoka' is marvellous in the first part . But to match the story of 'Baishe Shrabon' to its sequel , Srijit has to be suffered a lot.
Babul as Prabir Roychowdhury is very weak. And the dialogue and the gravity of Bumbada as Prabir was so good that the expectation of acting from 'vaat daal', i.e. Abhijit was too high but as a perfect follower, that doesn't suit him properly.
Raima is quite tolerable. But the story of marriage life through the songs of Anupam Ray is good. 'Biriyani', i.e. Abir for a small part is also good.
The absence of Bumbada is managed partly by the extraordinary acting of Anirban. The twist in the last scene of Srijit is just like the last six of Dhoni in the world cup. This 'chicken chowmin' tastes like biriyani only by the twist of the story, it recovers all the discripencies of the first scene. Different looks and character of Ritobrata and Anirban is really memorable.
