Every single character of the show gets lots of development and that's how I like it.
Nate and Brenda get closer, and their relationship, since it was so different from the standard, is really interesting. David continues keeping Keith away from his family, and keeps his secret for himself. Claire and Gabe also get closer, even though this storyline wasn't as engaging as the others. Ruth is a surprising character, with a very young soul, lol...
What is very great about this episode is how they manage to mix reality with their thoughts and feeling. Claire dancing "What a Little Moonlight Can Do" is an excellent moment I'll never forget.
The final scene is the top-moment: David finally mourns his father's death, after a mysterious Brenda takes him and his brother to the bus that killed him. The music is so sad and calming, and their performances are brilliant.
