gold dust, a great family movie... thats not a family movie...???

I wish (not really) i was one of those artsy fartsy, that could say i " i previewed the screener at the alpine"but no, the alpine is a butcher shop where i live. ok, the review. this has all the elements of family friendly kids have, some bumbling idiost stumble on a girl, etc. but. drug lord, assassin, etc there is genuine good feel about the whole film. almost as if dumb and dumber were smarter. gold dust is very comical, not holding your gut funny. that seems to be an art lost in the 70s. ok im not going to give away spoliers but this above average for a buddy/ buddy comedy. its no Hap and Leonard. but ther will be times when say"ha" and then "hahaha" and still "ha that's so stupid its funny". over all its a really great relief, just sit and chuckle. not a spoiler,... but watch past the credits to find about santa
