can you really shot someone under water ?

I didn't mind this episode as much, some of this season's epsiodes were really bad that they kinda overshadow the mediocrity of this one. so i have many takes on this episodes. first, aren't we done already with Emily's "death" subplote. it became really repititive, its irritating. the team seems to cope with everything throughout the seasons (Gideon, haley's death) but now it looks like we are going to deal with their grief for a minute. the other annoying thing is that Emiley is not even dead, and since the audience are aware of it, it is really useless to keep reminding us of her fake loss.

secondly, why can't they ever be smart about their decisions, they could have followed the first unsub secretly without the big show arrest in the school. first because, it's more productive than forcing a confess, and also they could have bought some time for the victim. ironically the first suspect turned out to be the partner, they could have busted him if they just did it secretly

thirdly, and to add to what i said above about their poor tactic decisions , why can't they make the arrest "silently". it is cut and clear if the unsub heard the police sirens they would run away immediately , so why all the fuss about it ?; i guess we need the chasing scene for "the dramatic effect" but if we really needed that we would watch S.W.A.T or HawaII five-o not criminal ""minds""

finally; i think Ashley really shined in this episode, her character is starting to grow on me. we shall see more of her in the next seasons
