Warning: Spoilers
This was a good episode all round but it did feel more like setup for something to come. The scene where Carrie realises that she bombed that particular spot was exceptional. Having been a fan of the show for years, seeing Carrie's reaction to the result of what she did as Drone Queen was powerful. The rest of the episode didn't live up to that scene, although the writers are playing the Yevgeny plot very nicely. He seems like he's telling the truth, but I honestly don't know. The Haqqani plot is at boiling point, and I really don't know what's going to happen. I applaud the writers for keeping me guessing. One of the things I love about this show is its portrayal of countries: not as autonomous states, but as individuals. The new president is the best example of this: a weak, ignorant man who is about to destroy the work of those before him who had tried so hard for peace. Looking forward to the remaining episodes
