A Monk Christmas episode! I love Christmas episodes, and this one is no exception. Behind the actual murder is a broken heart and a love affair gone amok, which leads to an apparent attempted murder of Captain Stottlemeyer. All credit to the assistant directors for directing the mass of extras in this episode, especially in the shopping mall. Monk as Santa Claus was hilarious!
