The first hour is plot. Starts to get weird in last 45 minutes. Most of the gore effects have a "Grindhouse" feel to it. I think there's something to the movie, a deeper message. Truth is by the end of the film was just glad it was over. Not because it was so disturbing, just because it got really corny and ovet the top in an almost syterical way. One thing I can say is that I always heard this was one of the most disturbing films of all times. Not even close. 120 Days of Sodom is worse. Begotten is much worse. Thing is, both of those are actually good films.
