I've never served in any armed force but if that's how the Americans handle betrayal, believe me, it hurts more than the betrayal itself. While Ray is one of my favorite characters it would be hard to see him done dirty but it was hard to see the young guy go down but rightly so.
I'm glad Ray is a man of honor and stood up the truth. He is proud of his Navy career but it is of no value to him if he abandons his values especially if his team members have to cover for him.
