It's a mess of a film as far as writing goes. A lot of random, out of nowhere scenes that have you going, "Where did that come from?". However as far as historical significance goes it's worth the watch for Bette Davis fans considering that this film was one of the reasons Bette Davis breached her contract with Warner Brothers and after watching it, you can't really blame her.
