.. a f..g superhero story?! Can it just stay unique and local with no dispersing in the wind mystical figures and all that superhero crap.

It was going so well and nicely organically progressing! Truly unique and exciting..

And here we are! This looks like it is shaping into another superhero story #1890 infinity .. like we don't have tons of those already.
