Far less focus on mysticism than in The Young Pope. Far more focus on sex and female nudity. The entire series seems to sex-obsessed. Kind of unbearable, really. A real disappointment after the masterful series The Young Pope. The only breath of fresh air is John Malkovich who is incomparable in part he plays.
His being in the series is the only reason I'm not giving this 4 stars instead of 7.
