The Will and Grace revival dips its toe back into the past for this episode, by bringing back Grace's ex husband Leo, but not really doing much with him.
The whole 'Grace might have cancer' storyline is played mostly for laughs oddly, and quickly discarded, which is a real shame, because this could have been covered in more depth.
Perhaps the writers feared this episode becoming too sappy, as the B story is another of those "lets show that Karen can be human" opportunities. It's nicely played, but again you do feel that it's an idea we've seen done before...and dare I say better.
I'm not overly convinced this revival is worthwhile thus far.
