This is a great episode because it is one of the first true tests of the friendship between Cory and Shawn and how far Cory is willing to go to protect Shawn. This is also the first episode we see that has Shawn committing a crime that shows how scared he is of getting in trouble with his parents and that Cory is the first person he thinks to go to when he is in any kind of trouble.
