Team Umizoomi (2010–2024)
Dante's Divine Comedy is more scientifically accurate than this
19 December 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Dante's Divine Comedy was intended to be scientifically accurate as it included the widely-accepted scientific theories of that time (for example, spherical Earth, gravity, geocentric Solar System, being day and night in opposite sides of the world, etc.) But when I watched Team Umizoomi when I was younger, now I can compare. There is an episode where the largest star is revealed to be - not a cloud of superheated gas and plasma fusing hydrogen or other elements in its core to support it from gravitational collapse - but rather a house for comets! And those comets are smaller than a human! And yet again in another episode, they said that 100 is the biggest number. Are you kidding me right now? You want to be educational and accurate, yet what are you teaching children? There are an infinite number of numbers larger than 100. Thus, I do not recommend this show, and am proud to give it a 3/10. Sorry, Nickelodeon. This is probably your worst and most inaccurate show.
