Supergirl: The Wrath of Rama Khan (2019)
Season 5, Episode 8
10/10
Nothing short than epic
2 December 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I will be the first to admit I was not feeling the first episodes of the season, or Malefic, but I should have known better from last season's Lex reveal. I am now eating a full service of crow.

The mid-season finale almost felt like a Star Wars movie, with multiple battles fought at many fronts at the same time, none less important than the other. On one front we had Lena trying to use the Kryptonian super weapon Myriad in order to mentally control every person on Earth so that they wouldn't hurt each other ever again, and in another one we had the ancient destroyer, Rama Khan, wanting to unleash a cataclysmic annihilation on National City, ten thousand times more powerful than the obliteration of Pompeii.

If that was not enough, we had Kara and Alex had to agree on trusting a formidable enemy in order to save a life of a former friend, a friend who has been brought down to such level she has now risen to become what she was meant to in the first place, a Luthor.

Thrilling, exciting, emotional... I have nothing to criticize from this astounding episode.

I highly recommend this show to everyone, because when you give her a chance you will believe a woman can fly.
