The Soilers (1932)
5/10
Some great acrobatic gags aid the laughter quotient.

Warning: Spoilers
A revolving door creates a spinning workman holding a ladder, people flying in and out, accidentally tearing off another woman's clothes, creating all sorts of calithetic like poses, all in the purpose of Zasu Pitts and Thelma Todd trying to sell magazines. They've been unlucky with the housewives so they head to the corporate part of town to deal with the men.

Attempts to get through the revolving door and onto an elevator fail miserably leading to some very funny moments even if there really is no structure outside of an occasionally messy formula. The pratfall visuals are worth the wait, especially for the shot of the security guard who literally does a headstand and then a backwards somersault.

Then there's the eager older businessman, spotting Thelma's legs, and getting his comeuppance for being such a letch by having his office destroyed. Not a great short, but par for the course with typical Hal Roach visual gags that include everything from banana peel slips to ink spills to racy insinuations, especially with Thelma in the revolving door.
