I absolutely love that after so many years of unhappiness and loneliness that Shawn finally gets to be truly happy. As happy as he was with Angela it's nowhere near the level of happiness he finds with Katy. Not only have they both had life experiences that have made them wary of love but those experiences have made them both into stronger and better people so when they find eachother they are truly ready to love again. Not only does Shawn find the woman he truly loves but he also gets to have Maya as a daughter which means he finally has a chance at a real family. I also love that Feeny presided over the wedding. The only thing I would have changed is for Shawn it would have been nice if Jack and Turner had been there. I mean Jon gets to see that he is finally happy in the finale but Jack doesn't get to see that his brother finally found peace and happiness and that doesn't seem fair to me.
