'Crown Vic' starts out with a helluva bang and remains riveting all the way to the finish. It's the simple story of a single night in one squad car as a rookie cop (Luke Kleintank) goes on his very first patrol to begin learning the ropes from the 25-year patrol veteran (Thomas Jane). What follows is a no-holds-barred tale of life and death on LA's mean streets. Great performances by both leads complement a streamlined script with very few wasted scenes. It's funny, tense, heartbreaking and brutal and I couldn't recommend it more highly.
