Season 4's premier brings the show back on tracks
11 November 2019
Although I'm split between an 8 or a 9 I'm going to settle on a 9. Also saying the show is back on tracks is a bold statement considering this is the first episode Anyway the episode reminds me a lot of Rest And Ricklaxation, which was my third favourite of that season. This episode, however improves upon it by including an A and B plot that have GREAT premises. My biggest problem with season 3 was the lack of the total Rickalls, those great premises that stick with you, but this episode delivers it with the death crystal and the cloning machine The episode is very funny. I still miss the improv and Ricks general verbal hiccups, but the jokes here are still great. Highlight would have to be the court scene, which uses the heartwarming music for comedic irony instead of forced emotion I am aware that the dynamic between Rick and Morty has shifted a lot through the events of season 3, but honestly it's really grown on me especially with the lack of the divorce plot I know this is getting long for just one episode, but to anyone who wasn't sold by season 3 check this out. It's a good look into what a regular season 3 rick and Morty adventure would be like
