The Walking Dead: Silence the Whisperers (2019)
Season 10, Episode 4

Visually stunning episode with some great acting
29 October 2019
The veteran TWD actor Michael Cudlitz returns in the director chair, his last time directing was a great episode and he did it again, delivering a visually stunning episode with great direction and beautiful shot with excellent cinematography. The episode has some great writing, they have teased the Silence the Whisperers storyline since the trailer and seeing it play out in front of us was perfect, in my opinion better than the comic book storyline of the Silence the Whisperers. Showing us the darkness and revenge the people has and want, it's realistic. With the writing, visual story telling and the acting makes it all feel very real, making the Whisperer War more unique and fleshed out as it shows horror at the home front and at the wilderness. I really believe that this whole story arc will be better than the graphic novel's. The walker kills of this episode was entertaining and brutal which it should be, were also some really good makeup and prosthetics for the zombies as it always is.

The acting was spectacular, everyone giving excellent performances. Cassady McClincy really shined as her character was one of the main characters that we followed through the episode and she did good! Danai Gurira keeps giving us a magnificent performance, being the true next Rick Grimes
