The Capture: Correction (2019)
Season 1, Episode 6

The final episode sees the appearance of the final big star Famke Janssen. Some American government bigwig who is a few pay grades above Frank Napier. She brings him down a peg or two and lets him know that someone is watching him.

Unfortunately each time Famke came on screen, I kept wondering how much botox has she had. Maybe she was that fake real time 3D CGI that the security service have developed.

I thought The Capture had a potential to be a really good thriller. Unfortunately it never reached its potential. The final episode blew off course and the reason for it was in case they got the go ahead for a second series.

The security services are afraid that they not want the information out in the open that CCTV footage can be corrected. Make guilty people look guilty so they can be convicted in a court of law.

Rachel gives them an ultimatum but Commander Danny Hart thinks she could be recruited to work for the security services.

As for Emery, he is persuaded to do his time quietly for his and his families sake.

A murky and confused thriller that is morally bankrupt. It does not like lawyers. One barrister murdered, a solicitor beaten up and then abducted by some shady spooks. What were they going to do with him? Emery's daughter is taken and used to put pressure on Emery. All of it been done by the 'good guys.'
