Season 5, Episode 14

Great world building and cinematography but suffers from bad writing
16 September 2019
Last episode we got introduced to The Settler in a very bad way but here we got the true introduction that is executed in a good way. I was highly disappointed in last episode but this episode was a step in the right direction with the focus of Morgan and Al, we got to see them help out a survivor and get introduced to the community and I really like them now, not as a villain but as a community. They seem to be really established which is nice to see cause of the time jump and all, the whole story sec between them was the highlight of the episode. Daniel and Grace were the other focus and it wasn't as good but the dialogue and character development was on point. Some of the writing are still really bad like with Daniel, a character that was the most interesting, smart and most bad ass character developed into this dumb character isn't a good thing for the show.

I liked the world building in this episode, expanding on what was established in the previous episodes going back to the first half and last episode. With the help of the good cinematography we got a really nice looking episode but it suffered by some bad writing at some certain places.
