I find the show to be great! The people who are on the show for help, are on because they themselves reached out to him and asked him for help, and he simply chose to give them help or advice. He reminds people all the time that if they don't want to be there they can leave anytime they want and that they don't have to do what he says or what he suggests but he still will go above and beyond than what he needs to do or even should do to help people who ASK for his help!
Others may find the show to be ridiculous or stupid but the truth is the way he helps people is by simply telling the bold truth and giving advice on how they can fix their problems yet again he reminds them that it's their choice to accept his help and take his advice, and the people that he does reach out to help are people who write to him asking him for help.
So for the fact that he does so much for people who ask him (a man who has had impeccable training and experience of this profession) to help them, when for one they are complete strangers to him yet he studies every issue as if he's known the people his whole life, and two he could choose to be a completely mean person and not help anyone at all. Shows that he is not a fake and is the best for help that I have ever known to be
