Angelic rich but always rich
22 August 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Sequel of the most famous Culkin's Richie Rich, this movie try to mix the Christmas atmosphere and magic with the story of a millionaire kid. The narrative dialectic is based on the opposition between two rich kids, one pure badness and the other (Richie Rich) pure goodness about the use of richness. The Manichean fight is resolved, obviously, in favor of the second one, with the triumph of goodness, served also by the christmassy context: the moralistic construction is absolutely stereotyped and poor. Moreover, remains the problem that even if a rich man (or kid) can do good actions, he remains rich and we not.
