The normally witty and humorous Frasier episodes are spoilt by the ludicrous miscasting of the character Simon Moon, Daphne's brother. The Australian born Anthony LaPaglia who usually speaks with an American accent is doing a terrible and annoying Cockney accent. This is bad enough but Daphne comes from Manchester and speaks with a Mancunian accent. Daphne's mother, played grossly over the top, by the English accent Millicent Martin also has a London accent. She and LaPaglia grate on the ear.
