Let's not get carried away on this. A very well done B movie Western pure & simple. Rises above the rest because it had good actors enjoying their roles & good chemistry. A rather tired premise made somewhat fresh by the script. A fistful of homages to past westerns from Butch Cassidy & Sundance Kid to My Darling Clementine. Lou Diamond Phillips was having a fun being the heavy & his climactic death scene was spot on perfect! Well directed. Just a lot of fun to watch, the two main leads were great together and adding in the "Accountant" made it 3 amigos. Jason Patric was very good as the heavy and went to his reward laughing all the way.
