The real standout in this film for me is Lliy Collins' fantastic performance as Liz, who was probably one of Ted Bundy's saddest victims because he manipulated her in such horrific mental ways. Zac Efron has never been one of my favorite actors, and even though he has a strong resemblance to Bundy, his performance seems forced. There is a great supporting cast here, but the direction is pedestrian at best, and the script is not much more than a superficial retelling of history.
