Silly, but fun early 70's cornpone soft-core trash
3 April 2019
Warning: Spoilers
The crude redneck family the Peabodies receive a visit from their hoity-toity big city cousin Prudence (an amusingly snobby portrayal by Ellen Stephens). Wacky hi-jinks ensue when the rowdy Peabody clan decide to go to Los Angeles and crash at Prudence's place.

Writer/director Bethel Buckalew keeps the enjoyably inane story moving along at a fitful pace, maintains an amiable lighthearted tone throughout, and delivers oodles of tasty bare distaff skin and sizzling simulated soft-core sex scenes. The presence of several hot babes certainly doesn't hurt in the least: Super cutie pie Rene Bond (sporting sweet little natural breasts and frequently doffing her duds to display her right''n'tight petite body), pretty Pamela Princess, buxom blonde Susan Westscott, and adorable redhead Debbie Osborne. Moreover, it's acted with zest by an enthusiastic cast: John Tull as the smooth Leroy, Mark Buckalew as the doltish Jeff, Steven Hodge as the equally dim-witted Jeeter, Zena Foster as the feisty Grandma Peabody, and, in an especially hilarious turn, George "Buck" Flower as sleazy and amorous manager Walter Wimpy. The jaunty and harmonic score by Southern and Hensley hits the catchy spot. A real dippy hoot and a half.
