First off I realize that the plot of this is fairly overdone. Everyone knows the story of the group that because of evil doppelgangers they have to overcome there differences and save the day. Heck My Little Pony has an entire arc about this. But in my opinion this story is still done very well and unique way while showing us a side of the group that is not often shown because they spend most of the show bickering. As usual the art is great. The design of the House of Yesterday's Tomorrow is really original and stands out as one of the best set pieces this show has had. (second only to the perfectly stylized great tree) It was also really interesting how the story played out was well paced with a very concrete three act structure. As a bonus we even get an interesting and original villain in the form of Matthew. He is mysterious and apart from Varian the show does not have much in the way of good antagonists and I look forward to seeing what he will accomplish next episode.
Final words: If you have enjoyed the show thus far you will enjoy the episode, it has character growth, an original spin on a classic story model and has great humor.
