I could not understand why Cybil Shepherd's character was so stiff and one dimensional
until I read her interview where she said the director kept telling her to "do less" so the viewer could insert their own emotions. Well I am here to say it didn't work.
The dialog was slow and stiff despite a good cast. There are plot holes so big that all the actors should have fallen through them.
I really wanted to like this film, but it's just poorly made by a person who doesn't understand pacing or that a woman can't go through a movie staring without cracking a smile. You never grow to even like these characters. Pass this one up.
