Abduction 101 (2019)
10/10
This horror Done rite!
2 March 2019
The film opens with narration of a survivor (Luna Labelle) of a kidnapping. The narrator is captivating and really gives intensity and understanding of the movie's premise. The young girl who narrates has a voice that draws you rite in and not only puts you on edge but places you in the situation she just experienced.

Robin Entreinger and Steve Noir's Abduction 101 bring you to a familiar area explored so many times, but make it fun. The set up is your girls in peril, but they create a horrific movie that takes you for the ride. The Oregon deep woods makes a perfect setting that is believable on what there about to experience.

It's raw and gritty and shot so well. The actress do so well in there respective parts. The whole movie is set in the Dark and vastness of the Forrest. 3 women in a house tucked in the woods agree on checking a mysterious house, one of them stumbled on while going for a run. One of the girls observes guys with masks carry bags in an out. After convincing her friends to investigate they arm themselves with an ax and a video camera. There going to reveal the mystery. What appears to be just a renovation reveals something more horrible and possibly deadly!

What was supposed to be a harmless investigation and snooping experience gets them captured and part of the evil experiments there conducting!

There held against there will and tied up in makeshift cells that are covered in clear plastic. One of the girls is stripped naked and hooked there evil experiments are brought upon her. But what is in the pool and what are these girls in for. What is force fed into one of the other girls mouth and what horrible effects will it have? Will they escape and expose the wilderness Drones as they call them?

The movie feels and plays like the great Slasher flicks of the 80's even with the video camera the girls take on there investigation. It is not insulting to the Genre but so well done and suspenseful. From then opening scene to the credits it puts you on edge and goes in full steam immediately. Cast And crew pulled this off in a movie shot entirely outside. You feel the raw intensity the Directors were looking for. Old school killings and no computer effects here. That adds more to the grit and reality...almost like a snuff film. But without the shaky and found footage nonsense! The quality of picture and sound is perfect!

I loved the movie and the characters but I feel Luna Labelle narration really sealed the deal to make this as chilling as it came out. Her views and explanations of what she experienced brings light and substance to what your watching. I hope to see this and all the other actresses in more movies Nd can't wait to see what is next from the group of Filmmakers!
