True Detective: Hunters in the Dark (2019)
Season 3, Episode 6
6/10
And this is where I started to lose interest

Warning: Spoilers
Season 3 started really well, and I enjoyed first 4 episodes. And then, that cliffhanger ending of e4 - that was actually ending of consistency. I had bad feeling that it will be not so good after it. And sadly, I was in right. It just became repetative, and too much of time frame changing just made it worse.

I understand that it's not easy to make another season as good as first, but forced way of trying it is surely not right one.

Another problem could be too big time between initial crime and latest investigation - some 35 years, combined with broken marriage and career, dementia.

All in all, as biggest flaw I see that there is too much of it involved. And in bad way - I missed some better presentation of Carmen's writing motives, background - that was mostly used for conflict in marriage, what is rather soapy. They should stick to detective work at good detail level - what was actually done well. To keep it at high level should perform side stories at such level too.
