Ambi, Still a KING - RIP
23 December 2018
Saw this movie today and I'm thankful that for a change we got to see a fantastic Kannada movie with a nice family story, instead of the usual rowdyism or tiny weenie syndrome movies that we normally see. Ambareesh proved yet again why he is the King of Kannada movies, his performance is easily defined as brilliance personified. I sincerely thank Sudeep for making such a brilliant movie as it has been ages since I saw or felt the crux of a real family story that touches our human side.

Sudeep, Suhasini and everyone who acted in this movie executed their roles impeccably, notably, the gentleman who acted as Ambareesh's son. I haven't seen him in any other movie, but I think he is a talented actor. The Direction, background music, songs, camera work etc... were just too good.

Why is it that we don't have more Kannada movies like this?? I hail from the era of Vishnuvardhan, Dr. Rajkumar, Ambareesh etc.., and back then, we had such wonderful movies that the whole family could watch. However, off-late the concept of introducing these movies that involve rowdyism has destroyed the industry and the mindset of today's youth. PLEASE STOP THIS!

Let the change begin with Sudeep, with this movie! I hope we get to see many more movies like this. Thanks to everyone involved in making this, FANTASTIC WORK! Thanks for keeping the values and culture of the great state of Karnataka, JAI KARNATAKA!
