This episode marks almost everything I love about this show, the deep characters and story arcs. John Smith's outsmarting Edgar Hoover and others with a power play so well thought out I'm just glad to be able to follow him. The characters, in the Reich, the Japanese and Rebels are all interesting and well-thought-out. I like them all, the good and bad. John Smith have developed so much as a character, he's now my favorite and also the most humane, stunning acting performance, emmy worthy.
So far this season, Ed and Robert's story arc have been the worst, horrible and nothing interesting about it. It might lead to something good?
The production design, everything is just perfect and real. Depressing in a way how realistic they have made it and thought out everything. The upcoming Reich story arc seems really interesting and the Rebel arc from the trailer is something I look forward to, it seems like this might be the best season yet, time will tell!
