The Mom in this episode made the best choice for her son, and herself, period. Her son was only going to get bigger, stronger, and harder to control when he had an outburst. She was not going to get any younger, or better equipped. Giving him up doesn't mean she doesn't Love him, it just means he needs care she can't provide. It's the same as putting an elderly parent in a nursing home.
As for Dr. Glassman, and his hallucinations of his daughter, I was confused. Did anybody else assume that she got sick and died? I remember a conversation Glassman had last season that implied it, or at least that was my interpretation. Either way, excellent acting, very intense!
I did think the Shaun and Lea thing was interesting, if anticlimactic. I want to know what happened in Hershey!
Finally, am I the only one who wants Morgan to get punched in the throat?
