Steve Guttenberg from Police Academy and It Takes Two plays young Nick the son of Santa Claus who is the next in line to become Santa Claus as his father is retiring. However Nick has to find a wife before Christmas or else he won't become Santa. Meanwhile we meet a widowed mother named Bette(Crystal Bernard),who hasn't dated a man since her husband's passing and as a little girl she wanted a doll from Santa but she never got it. Nick decides to travel to LA to find a wife and he later meets Bette who is looking for an actor to play Santa Claus for her job campaign. Nick agrees and you pretty much know what happens(hint the two fall madly in love).

Overall its a sweet movie and I like Steve Guttenberg since the 90s.
The only think that annoyed me was Nick saying ho ho ho on repeat and it's got the exact same plot as The Santa Claus 2 with Tim Allen and Elizabeth Mitchell. Still though if you love The Santa Claus 2 then I'd say check it out on TV as it's always on repeat on True Christmas.
