A Tub and a Hard Place
11 October 2018
This is my sixth favorite episode, it's such a simple concept, but the execution that makes it work. Yeah I know an episode of "iCarly" took inspiration from this show, for the record not a fan of that show that was a show my niece watched; but this episode is still the best and is the one that does it right.

What I really like about this episode is that for once both Rob and Laura are interacting but from a distance apart. What's even more interesting is the fact that despite Laura is part of the episode she's hardly physically in it, except in scenes from the present where she is giving the rundown along with Rob, and we don't really see her till at least the final five minutes of the episode.

As Laura is trapped within the bathroom all we hear is her voice, it's interesting because we're kind of just using our imaginations as to what Laura is going though in there which makes it all the funnier as the audio is fueling our imaginations. But also, what makes this work is that in a way it's somewhat two schools of humor together from Laura's end it's the verbal but in Rob's it's visual.

It's just funny as we see both desperately trying to get the darn door open but to no avail, from what they go though I'd change hotels. Two of the stand out moments are when Rob keeps trying to ram the door but just keeps hurting himself and a few delays.

But my other favorite moment is when the idiotic Bellboy brings in an equally idiotic house Detective trying to get Rob arrested but then Rob does a smart thing to not just get out of the misunderstanding taking place but also get the door open.

I won't say how but let's just say it's both hilarious and proves both the house Detective and Bellboy are the stupidest people on the face of the Earth and Rob is the smartest.
