Not much needs to be said about Lethal Weapon....besides it being one of the greatest action films ever made.
There have been a lot of great buddy cop movies, but none compare to the chemistry that Mel Gibson and Danny Glover had in the 4 movie series.
The action scenes and stunts are spectacular. The comedy (through brief in the first movie) is also great and well timed.
Mel Gibson was amazing as the gung ho cop who thinks he had no reason to live after his wife dies. His emotional scenes were brilliant. Danny Glover was also amazing as the by the book cop and wonderful family man.
Even though both men are opposites they are perfect partners which leads to them not being friends but as a family as well.
Gary Busey is also chilling as one of the main bad guys Mr Joshua. The whole main cast and supporting cast all delivered wonderful performances in the movie.
This truly is an action classic not to be missed
