Allison doesn't seem to care about anything other than the fact that her son is no longer autistic. I am not sure why the writers decided to write Kevin as a person with autism. Maybe they honestly thought they could come up with some decent story lines. Apparently their autism plot device failed after a few episodes. But this season they don't have to worry about it because he isn't autistic anymore. Now his mom can have a "normal" son. (Thier word, not mine.) I really hate this season.
