CURSE OF THE SIREN is a typical indie horror/thriller. I have a general rule of thumb that if a film is broken down into chapters it tends to be rubbish, and so it proves with this one. The mythological story of the sirens is given a present-day re-run, but this is merely about a boring house party and some events at a swimming pool. It's slow, boring, awkward, and very amateurish.
