True Inspiring Story

"Forest Man" is a true, inspiring story of one man's courage and determination to create a forest. The film celebrates the natural beauty one person was able to achieve. Set in India, the film's influential message emphasizes the importance of new life and the strong bond between Jadav Payeng and nature. The film shows us a neglected, baron wasteland that has been single handily planted to create a forest larger than NY's, Central Park. The "Forest Man" fulfils its purpose by setting a variety of scenes toward the lands resent destruction. Then moving forward to discover a possible survival of his loved land, from the threat of erosion. I was emotionally touched by the peace Payeng bought to his land, giving the audience a glimpse of his personality. Journalist, Jitu Kalita, has documented Payeng's acts of bravery influencing the next generations to respect the environment around them.
