When this show premiered I recorded the pilot & never got around to watching it. I only recorded the pilot because I am such a big fan of the Arrowverse and knowing the show was adapted from a DC comic I thought maybe it would join the extended tv universe & when I read it wasn't I didn't even bother to watch the first episode. My mistake! Between season 2 & 3 I was looking for something to watch and a small voice in the back of my head said "watch Lucifer". So I did I thought I'd watch an episode a day or maybe 2. More than likely based on past attempts at binge watching a series 2 episodes a week was probably what it would really be. WRONG! 2 episodes on a Thursday & it was okay but I didn't need to watch more right away. Following weekend I watched episode 3 & the story picked up & I watched season 1 & 2 before bed Sunday night! The acting & story telling were brilliant. Tom Ellis played a Lucifer that you could see how he might be viewed as evil but that you couldn't help but take his side & I am living for Lesley-Ann Brandt as Mazikeen Lucifer's demon bodyguard/confidant the pair made Monday's bearable. I can honestly say I loved every episode after the first 3 and I liked those three. The only issue I have is the sadness and anger that Fox repeating their biggest flaw as a network which is not seeing potential of what they have and ditching them too soon. Just like they did with Dark Angel, Firefly, Dollhouse, Tru Calling, Terminator the Sarah Connor Chronicles, Arrested Development. Hell even Family Guy got the ax but I fear Lucifer won't be back in 2 years like Family Guy was & all I can do now is hope that Netflix, Hulu or another streaming service picks up the show. In fact if Lucifer were right in front of me and asked what I desired I'd say "you" but Lucifer getting a 4th season is a really close second ;)
