Beyblade (2001–2005)
5/10
A pretty baddass show for kids between 4-11, yet a dull show for anyone over.

Ok. So let me begin that I never got into the original Beyblade show when I was a kid. I knew what it was but never got into it. However, when I was so obsessed with the Beyblade Metal series when I was 13, I decided to get into this to see what it was all about. I think it was during 2011 when I first watched this show. I remember finishing season1 of Beyblade Metal Fusion and watching season 2, Beyblade Metal Masters in japanese, but then I got upto date with the show nnear it's season finale and i was bored waiting for the last 8 episode of the season to air once a week. So, I decided to watch this show. And I must say, at the time, I was really impressed. I enjoyed this show just as much as the metal series. I found the beys cooler, the charatcers a bit more likeble and the music soundtrack really baddass. However, after reawatching at the age of 16, my opinian of the show drastically changed. I found the show as a whole, pretty dull, predicitable, and very frustrating, I guess cause I grew up and compare to the metal series, it was pretty crappy. Here's why.

Season 1, titled Beyblade is about a group of kids who travel the world in a team to win the world champianships. I HATED the design of this show the first time round and the rewatch round even more. But I grew to accept it. The Beyb;ade spinning themsels were so AWFUL and badly animated that it felt like I was watching a animate for a upcoming show. The plot itself was ok, I guess, especially near the end when there are secrets reveled about certain characters. I found that the best part of the show. But I did like them just travelling around the world, experiancing the coultures and all that. So Season 1 is a 5/10 for me .

Season 2, on the other hand is where things get really REALLY BAD. I mean, good lord this season is bad. I will commend the creators for improving the visual design of the characters and the beyblade spinning and batteling. much more better, but the new design made them a bit too young. But, my gosh I couldn't stand this season. The plot, well. There isn't one at all. Not until the last 13 episode of this season. it's just tyson and his freinds chilling out at school, battelng the SAME PEOPLE EVERY EPISODEE. EVERY FREAKING EPISODE. It gets boring fast. There is a bit more info on bit beats, but that kinds bored me. There is no champianships at all until the last 13 episode where there is a national champainnship. Tyson and the gang meet new people through this season, but there is one character they meet and towards the end, we find out some UNEXPECTED about him, it will throw you off guard completely. I mean, WOW, I didn't see that coming. But apart for the last 13 episdodes of this show, it isn't that good. 2/10

Season 3 is the third and final season of the original series and is defieantly the best out of the three of them. The visual design has improved much more and the characters llook uch better, as they are older. I really liked this season. It did nfeel like season 1, as they travel the world again, but this time, there are changes in the group. I won't spoil it for you, but it does get a bit intense at times. From ep 1 to like ep 26, the show is pretty amazing. I loved it. But then the send half of the show starts to go off the rails a bit. It isn't nearly as bad as season 2, but it does start tho change. I liked it and didn't like it at the same time. I felt that there could have been more explaining, but oh well, it's a kids show. The finale was VERYYY, VERY anticlimatic and they changed it from the japanese to make it childfrindly, which was a bad move. But a uch better season.

Overall, this show is for kids and maybe pre teens. I didn't really like it, but they might.
