This movie really need two things to be passable. Editing and an ending that makes sense.
From the get go you can see that it's a low buget low sci-fi movie. The acting is nothing stellar but good enough for the most part. the story could almost be good with a little more introspection but instead is totally flat, unidimensional and boring. And the editing is really bad, the entire movie is a succession of scenes, there's no sense of time or place.
And the last twenty minutes are bad. I won't spoil it here if you courageous (or masochistic) to see this movie till the end.
