I missed the first few episodes of this season where presumably they built up Morgan Edge as a bad guy. Watching this episode in seclusion, you could easily see him as the victimized innocent. The opening review scenes show Lena pointing a gun at him. His car is hacked and an attempt made on his life. Lena is poisoned and they assume Morgan did it even though they have no evidence to support that. A 2nd attempt is made on his life using a drone. The "good guys" offer to prevent his assassination only if he confesses to things they have no evidence he actually did.
