Still Good But Could Have Been Better

Warning: Spoilers
I have to agree with others on this page that this last episode spent too much time talking and daydreaming. I have never been in battle but no one daydreams in the middle of a battle because that is a good way to get killed. It jumped around too much and I sometimes did not know if we were in Kattwgat, Iceland, or England. Also, some of the characters look too much alike and it is confusing about who is who.

The plus side of this episode that makes me look forward to the next half season is that all of the brothers are still alive and Ivar is definitely the one you love to hate. I do hope in the next set that he finally gets his butt kicked. He is a necessary character and no movie or TV series will succeed without conflict. He is definitely crazy and I don't think redemption is possible with him. He has been destroyed by his hatred of Lagertha and his subplot to get all of his brothers killed so he can have it all. As noted, it is past time for him to get his butt kicked although it would do as much damage to the show for him to die as it did with Ragnar being killed. Hvitserk had better never turn his back on Ivar since he has already made two moves that show that he would kill him if he could. Hvitserk had better find a way to get back with his other brothers if he wants to stay alive. In history, all of the brothers had pretty long lives for that time, even Segurd who Ivar killed. Bring it on.
