Meh... Some Of It Was Good, Some Of It Was Forgettable
22 January 2018
While I did enjoy a few of the stories in this anthology series from Sweden, the other stories fell flat and failed to tap its admittedly strong potential. Many of the stories were too short, ranging from 3 minutes to 26 minutes, when some of the stories had enough potential to be full 45 minute episodes. I found myself thinking at the end of an episode how great it would have been if the story was fleshed out, because the story is strong enough to be longer. The basic plot of each story is interesting enough, but like I said, many of them were just too short, having boat loads of potential. That isn't to say I didn't enjoy a couple of them, but they could have been so much more memorable with longer, fleshed out stories.

This series was about as hit-and-miss as they come, whether it be acting, cinematography, or story, the case is always the same, some of it was good, and some of it was bad. A few stories had good actors, while some had pretty bad ones. Some had good cinematography, some was very average. I only found one of the stories to be truly well put together, the others were not bad, but forgettable because as I said before, they are too short and fail to tap its potential. But to be fair it appears that these are all short films from independent directors, so I suppose they might not have had enough money to really portray their vision.

I wouldn't really recommend this one, go and watch a better anthology series like Black Mirror or the Twilight Zone.
