The Bondsman (1913)
No better than previous Puritan film stories
13 November 2017
A two-reel picture of early Puritan days. The first scenes are laid in England and the hero and girl sail for America. The photography during the fire scenes was very cloudy, partly due to the smoke. Upon arriving in this country the Puritans are attacked by Indians. While this production is no better than previous Puritan film stories, it is quite instructive and entertaining. - The Moving Picture World, September 20, 1913
