8/10
A wholly satisfying episode

This was hands down a great episode and a great tease for the next episode. I say it's my favourite episode of this season so far even though at the time of me writing this review, the next episode hasn't aired yet. And I am looking forward to next week's mid-season finale as that looks like it will be a pretty big event for the show.

But this episode "Kindred" introduced us to fan-favourite Ruhk, Thrawn's assassin, and he was awesome in this episode and I can't wait to see how well they will do his character in the later episodes. Warwick Davis does incredible voice-work for this character and the action sequences are always fun to watch in Star Wars Rebels as they are very well shot and very entertaining.

But the true fan service comes here in this episode, where they finally make Kanan and Hera embrace and kiss for the first time on the show, and it's about time! It was a great scene and very touching to see their love story after all that's happened on this show.

I give this an 8/10, I enjoyed every second of this episode, I enjoyed the loth wolves as well and we better get some answers to them and what they have to do with the overall story. As it stands, I loved this episode and I can't wait to see how they wrap this story up.
